Hi, I'm Carolyn. Though my friends call me Caz. I'm a Sydney-based artist creating vibrant, expressive abstract floral art for women who live life in full colour. By day, I work from home as an Art Director. But on Fridays during my downtime, I paint out of my garage-turned-art-studio.

Painting wasn't always the plan. For years I worked in fashion as a freelance textile and surface pattern designer, and it was that world of colour and florals that slowly cracked something open in me. Changing careers and designing floral prints for Australian fashion brands became an unexpected door back into colour, joy and softness. Now, painting is how I heal from the burnout that freelance work left behind.

My studio days have a rhythm: a matcha or coffee with my dogs to start, a soulful Spotify playlist to get me going, then brush to canvas to unwind from a week of managing a remote team. My paintings are layered, textured and intentionally imperfect, built up intuitively rather than planned. Each piece is a small act of reconnection for me, made to bring a bit of that same softness and joy into the homes of the people who collect it.
