I primarily paint acrylic on canvas pet portraits, including support pets, and family pets. However my interests primarily lies in the middle of these definitions: I love exploring the healing relationships that form organically when a naturally caring dog assumes the role of support pet out of an owners need for it.
In my art, I experiment with both natural colours and unusually coloured subjects to explore how to create better three dimensional appearances in two dimensions.
