Is it All Below the Surface is the culmination of over a year’s worth of painting a green carafe. The Bottled Up collection of work was a homage to my dad, who was a bottled-up kind of guy. But more than that, it is also a comment on how we bottle up our true feelings as a culture and how we all suffer because of it.
