Pictures of You, Pieces of Me is a collection of 16 A4
The images are an extension of my 2025 autobiographical still-life collection which explores identity and personal narrative through possessions. I have struggled with the documentation of my work, a task I find tedious, this has lead to some embarrassing mistakes.
This series aims to highlight that process with three numbering systems, title, signature and statement written on the sides of the pieces. Documentation becomes an integral part of the artwork—no longer separate, but embedded.
The works are all acrylic on cradled wood panels. They were painted from life in the studio.
